Outdoor Adventures
Camping
Cub Scout families have opportunities to go camping and to participate in outdoor adventures. Each rank in Cub Scouting has adventures that take Cub Scouts outdoors. From a one foot hike to a five mile hike Cub Scouts learn about their natural surroundings.
What to Bring?
- Tent (Instant) & tent pegs/stakes
- Tarp for under Tent (size of tent)
- Sleeping Bags, Cot, Sleeping pad, Air mattress (bring battery pump)
- Blankets, Comforters, Pillows
- Folding Chairs (handy around the campfire)
- Flashlight & Extra Batteries
- Extra clothes, socks, shoes, PJ, Sweatshirt and/or Jacket
- Rain gear (poncho recommended)
- Personal Hygiene (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Towel, Baby wipes, Etc)
- Personal items, Grooming kit, Toiletries, Paper towels and Garbage bags
- Bug Repellant
- Sun Screen
- First Aid Kit and Personal Medicine
- WATER BOTTLE (Scouts and Family)
- Great Positive Attitude

- Any electronic device (cell phones are only allowed for parents)
- Handheld Games
- iPod
- Jewelry
