Camping

Cub Scout families have opportunities to go camping and to participate in outdoor adventures. Each rank in Cub Scouting has adventures that take Cub Scouts outdoors. From a one foot hike to a five mile hike Cub Scouts learn about their natural surroundings.


What to Bring?

  • Tent (Instant) & tent pegs/stakes

  • Tarp for under Tent (size of tent)

  • Sleeping Bags, Cot, Sleeping pad, Air mattress (bring battery pump)

  • Blankets, Comforters, Pillows

  • Folding Chairs (handy around the campfire)

  • Flashlight & Extra Batteries

  • Extra clothes, socks, shoes, PJ, Sweatshirt and/or Jacket

  • Rain gear (poncho recommended)

  • Personal Hygiene (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Towel, Baby wipes, Etc)

  • Personal items, Grooming kit, Toiletries, Paper towels and Garbage bags

  • Bug Repellant

  • Sun Screen

  • First Aid Kit and Personal Medicine

  • WATER BOTTLE (Scouts and Family)

  • Great Positive Attitude

What Not to Bring?

  • Any electronic device (cell phones are only allowed for parents)

  • Handheld Games

  • iPod

  • Jewelry

  • Valuables

  • Fireworks

  • Pets

  • Bad Mood and Attitude
